Mille’s Takeover Insights

1. What classes are you taking?

These are the classes I’m taking this semester: Managerial Economics, Business Finance, Managing Diversity in the workplace, Project Management, Information Tools for Business.

2. What’s your favorite activity in your sparetime?

Whenever I’m not in school, I love spending time at the beach or going on hikes. My friends and I love going for sunset swims every now and then.

3. Where can I get the best Açaí bowl in Hawaii?

My favorite açaí bowl from “The Porch”, it is at the waterfront Plaza.

4. What’s your favorite snorkeling spot?

Electric Beach is my favorite snorkeling spot. However, it requires a long swim offshore. For those less confident in the water, Shark’s Cove on the North shore during the summer is better.

5. What’s your favorite hike?

I really, enjoyed hiking pink pillbox, on the west side of the island. Like all of the pillboxes it is a short hike with great views. Can be a little bit scary if you are afraid of heights.

6. I’ve heard that Hawaii is expensive.. Is it as bad as everyone says?

Living in Hawaii is pretty pricey, especially for a student. Rent is particularly high here. Food costs are also high, though not significantly more than in Norway.

7. What do you miss the most?

I miss my family, friends and also Norwegian food and candy.

8. What’s your favorite course in school?

My favorite class was macroeconomics which I took last semester.

9. What are your plans after this semester?

I’m going to go back to Norway to start my bachelor in the fall. But during the summer I am just going to work.
