Who is Jasmin?

Jasmin is 23 years old, and an exchange student from Norway, Volda that is currently doing a semester at Hawaii Pacific University.
(The spring 2025 semester)
Some things Jasmin loves about Hawaii is Road Trips, Camping, Stunning views and food.

1. What is your best camping tip on the island?
Check out the national state parks campground. They are all over the island, safe and super affordable.
2. Have you tried any of the sports activities at HPU?
HPU has a lot of different sports teams, I joined the HPU cheer for a cheer clinic and it was so much fun.
3. Are the classes easier than the ones in Norway?
I feel like the standards are a lot lower here, but I have a lot more subjects and a lot more homework here.
4. Do you have any go-to food spots for students?
There’s so many good spots around the HPU campus. But my faves are marugameudon and Kainalupoke. Marugameudon is a really popular spot and it’s one of the more affordable places. But Kainalupoke also has some great student deals.
5. What’s your favorite thing to do?
I love exploring the island, I can’t advocate for this enough, because road trips and camping is such an affordable way to explore to the fullest. Have gotten so many amazing experiences from this
